Using Routing and Remote Access for basic firewall

Open the RRAS console

Open the RRSA console and start the configuration

Starting Routing and Remote Access Wizard

Check Custom configuration

Select NAT and Basic firewall

Finish RRSA wizard

Start the RRSA service

Configure NAT/Basic firewall

RRSA - new interface for NAT/Basic Firewall

New interface: configure Local Area Connection

Configure Basic firewall

Click Address Pool tab: enter your IP address of your server

Enter your server IP address

Click on Service and Ports tab to configure the service that we going to allow

Editing the service that the server is going to allow for example MS FTP service

Do Not forget to allow Remote Desktop access or you will get lock out

That's it.
